Dodge will be issuing a recall to recall back the Dodge Dar after it was reported that there might be some issue with the power brake of the Dodge Dart.
According to the press release, the Dodge Dart’s brake booster vacuum tube routing has the potential to allow the oil to leak into the brake booster diaphragm costing the vehicle to lose its braking assist system.
The vehicle will still be able to stop without the braking assist system, but the vehicle might take a longer time to stop. Affected models will include the 2013-2014 Dodge Dart that runs on the 2,0 liter and 2,4-liter engine.
According to Dodge, there is also two reports of the issue causing minor injuries and a few more reports that could potentially be related to the issue. Those affected will get their vacuum tube replace. The vacuum pump, master cylinder and brake booster could all be replaced find oil is found in the tube.
