Datsun & Suzuki Practices Population Control In India

Both the Datsun Go and Suzuki Maruti Swift are just released in India and they have scored an epic zero in the Global NCAP tests. In other words, if either vehicle is to crash, it can kill anyone inside of it.

It was revealed that both the Datsun Go and the Suzuki Maruti Swift have a poor structure and does not come with a single airbag as a standard. They can be dubbed as a moving death trap in our vocabulary.

The Suzuki Maruti Swift surprised us the most. The European version of the same vehicle achieved full 5-star ratings from NCAP. Obviously, this is a case of double standard.

Perhaps the decision made by Suzuki is purely business. They simply want to sell something that is cheap for the Indian population. The Japanese carmaker still offers basic air bags but it is listed as optional. On the other hand, India has yet to introduce minimum crash safety regulations.
