The buzz on the next-gen Chevrolet Camaro had just gotten louder and this is after Chevrolet was spotted filing a patent for the name Camaro Krypton. This has got everyone wondering on whether there will be a special version of the Camaro coming?
Even though Chevrolet has yet to share anything about it, many speculated that the Camaro Krypton will be a performance-focused trim. Furthermore, the name Krypton suggests that the Camaro is going to be painted in green.
Unfortunately, none of the above will come true as the Chevrolet Camaro Krypton won’t step into production. This is because the trademark filed is nothing more than a marketing campaign.
According to an industry insider, the carmaker filed the trademark before purposely leaking the information online. That way, everyone will be more exposed and excited for the next-gen Camaro.
Chevrolet also decided on the name Krypton because of the big hype that is developed by the upcoming action superhero movie, Batman vs Superman.
