A recent study by Arval discovered that car colours have a psychological effect on the driver. The team of researchers revealed that black car drivers, for instance, believe they are much smarter than the average driver on the road.
Arval also shared on how the research was conducted. The organization did a survey on 1,016 adults based on their age, occupation and car ownership before cross-referencing the data with five personality measures.
Black, in particular, produced a common result. There are a lot of black car drivers in the survey and their age average at 41. All of them agreed that they are more intelligent, creative and open to new experiences than the average car owner.
White cars, on the other hand, have an average driver’s age of 38. The drivers perceive themselves as people who are more likely to work in higher management positions.
Then, there are silver car drivers, who are more emotionally stable than average, green car drivers that are not materialistic and blue car drivers that are good listeners. So, where do you stand?
