For those that have been living under a rock, BMW is going to produce a new breed of compact SUVs and it will be known as the Xcite. The vehicle will be sized like the Nissan Juke but drive like the BMW X1.
In detail, the Xcite’s relationship with the X1 will be like the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque. In other words, the Xcite will be the stylish car magazine cover kind of car while the X1 will be that practical figure.
Now, this leaves us with the Mini Countryman and Paceman. Mini has been part of the BMW family for so long now and the addition of the Xcite will draw confusion on the fate of both Mini vehicles. It can also lead to fights between the same customers inside BMW Group.
Even so, the Xcite’s 2018 release date is still far away from now and there will obviously be more reveals on the vehicle. Car junkies can also expect a clarification on how the Xcite will not affect the Mini Paceman and Countryman.
