Audi announced yesterday that they will be putting more focus in producing more EV cars in the future and they also revealed on a Sport Activity Vehicle that is currently in development and it is due to arrive in 2018.
Tentatively known as the Q6 E-Tron, the car is aimed to offer over 311miles of driving range and it will be built on the future MLB 2 platform. While not much information is present at the moment, Audi did hint that the Q6 E-Tron will feature a squat-crossover design with coupe-like proportions.
The Q6 E-Tron is the latest major car announced by Audi and it was made right after the German carmaker unveiled the Audi R8 E-Tron and the Q7 E-Tron. This basically shows how serious Audi is in attempting to dominate the EV market.
