The Apple Watch is finally out and it is the very first smartwatch to come from Apple. On the other hand, bitter rival Samsung has launched yet another smartwatch in the name of Galaxy Gear S. Between the two, which is better?
In terms of design, the Galaxy Gear S is really big and thick. It has one button resting at the bottom of the curved screen and the wide straps make it look like a wristband. The Apple Watch, on the other hand, offers a rectangular panel that comes with a Digital Crown to control the content.
Surprisingly, the Apple Watch is also more customizable than the Galaxy Gear S. Customers can actually choose between two sizes, in three different material choices, along with a host of wristband options. The Galaxy Gear S only offers a wide variety of colours.
Both smartwatches run on their makers’ softwares. The Tizen OS from Samsung might offer so many functions but it is built to operate like a smartphone. The Watch OS from Apple allow users to flip through a mosaic of apps with zooming functions. Both smartwatch are also built with various health sensors.
All in all, the Apple Watch actually has more to offer to the users. On the downside of things, the smartwatch is too expensive to own which is why more consumers re settling for the Samsung Galaxy Gear S.
