President of Motorola, Rick Osterloh, announced yesterday that the tech firm will be sticking to the annual release pattern for all of its products this year and this confirms that the Moto X will be coming in August.
In detail, the signs are pointing to August for the unveiling of the next-gen Moto X. The device will probably get launched at the end of that month or probably in September this year. After all, the existing Moto X made its debut on August this month.
While details on the specs are unavailable at the moment, we can temporarily assume the Moto X to run on the upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor and this will power its large 5.5” QHD display. In addition to that, the Moto X will have a 16MP rear camera and a 3MP front shooter with 2.5GB of RAM and 3000mAh battery.
For the Motorola fans, they are simply hoping for the next-gen Moto X to still feature removable batteries and also a microSD slot. Ever since Samsung dropped those features on its latest Galaxy S6, it raised the fear for other Android smartphone manufacturers to follow suit.
