Last the world witnessed a Jeep pickup truck getting produced was back in 1992 and there has been a big void in that department ever since. Despite being a huge pickup truck fan, Jeep CEO Mike Manly already shared that there won’t be any new pickup trucks coming at least until 2018.
This is because Mike hints that if Jeep is to develop a new pickup truck, it will be based on the next-gen Wrangler. Even so, pickup truck lovers don’t have to wait until 2018 to get a rough idea on how a future Jeep pickup truck will be made to appear like.
Independent artist, Theophilus Chin has just rendered his vision for the Jeep pickup truck and the vehicle is made to appear really huge. As pictured above, the Jeep pickup truck comes with a set of huge wheels and that typical vertical grille from Jeep.
Then again, the concept design looks exactly like the Amarok Canyon. Heck, it is based on one of the Amarok’s Canyon concept pictures with design changes to the front portion to make the vehicle appear like a Jeep.
