Come 2017, Tesla will be looking to launch a new generation of Model S. The vehicle is expected to come out with a bigger battery and better efficiency but what the car needs most is a divine charging technology.
Right after we heard about the Model S that got struck by lightning, many find the ideal solution to be with a lightning protector. However, since Tesla is famous for its innovation, perhaps the carmaker can introduce a mechanism that can utilize lightning to charge the vehicle.
Imagine driving the next-gen Model S in a thunderstorm before getting hit by lightning. Instead of seeing the EV jamming, it sees the battery being charged to its max. Tesla always dream of building the future and this is the best opportunity to do so.
It is unsure if today’s technology can tap on the power of lightning through a compact component but if there is one entity we believe that can achieve this, it is Tesla.
