We have seen the Nissan Maxima already with its new front grille that sweeps down and this is something that is much talked about. However it seems that the natural evolution of the design may not be going where it should be.
Car makers have to offer new designs but at the same time they have to keep the recognition of the brand intact. Recently Audi showed off the 2015 Audi Prologue concept and the vehicle has lines that are sleek. We are expecting this design to be seen on the new Audi A4 and the rest of the line-up.
Now Nissan has showed off the Nissan Sway and this too have the much talked about V shaped grille but it takes it lower. The grille has now dropped down to the point where it is ugly. We believe that the right height for the grille was on the 2016 Nissan Maxima and if it comes down any lower then it would make it look like a low hanging diaper.
But what do you think of the design concept of the Sway? Would you like it if the 2017 Nissan Maxima had this design cue or do you think that they should leave it well alone?
