For decades already, the Mercedes V-Class have served the masses as the best minivan around. Well, things are about to get a whole lot better in late 2016 as Mercedes is preparing to launch the all-new V-ision E.
The vehicle is basically a V-Class that runs on a hybrid powertrain. In detail, the vehicle will be powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine together with an electric motor. The petrol mill is expected to develop 210hp and 350Nm of torque whereas the electric mill will add in another 120hp and 340Nm of torque.
In total, the V-ision E will generate a whopping 333hp and 600Nm of torque to toy with. It is also worth noting that the powertrain is brought over from the Mercedes-Benz C350-e.
The icing on the cake will be with the 3L/100km fuel consumption rating and that translates to an average of 78.4mpg. Of course, this can only be achieved when both motors are operated simultaneously.
When Mercedes launches the V-ision E, consumers will get to enjoy great fuel mileage together with the best luxuries from the German carmaker. V-Class lovers can already check out on how the V-ision E will be made like by looking at the concept model from the last Geneva Motor Show.
