Mercedes-Benz has already confirmed that they are producing the next-gen E-Class and the luxury sedan will look to make its debut in 2017.
Today, car junkies can already catch a clearer sight of the E-Class and this is thanks to the new batch of spy shots that had just surfaced online. The new leaked images basically show the E-Class without any plastic camo so enthusiasts can check out on how the car is structured like.
Well, the result is apparently disappointing. It seems that the structure of the E-Class looks a lot like the C-Class. The proportions are simply identical and the only difference between both the E-Class and the C-Class is its size.
Of course, there is no way to check out on the design details of the E-Class due to the camouflage wrappers but it is not worth the anticipation. After all, it is safe to assume that every little detail on the E-Class is simply an enlarged version of the C-Class.
In short, Mercedes have failed to create an exclusive identity out of the E-Class. Instead of making the E-Class looking extravagant, Mercedes took the ‘Audi route’ and simply utilize one design language for each of its sedan.
