The new 2017 RX-7 – as Mazda continues to work on the rotary engine, moving far from the smooth-running, high revving, pistonless powerplant design to make the it fuel save and emissions. Speculations have that the car appears to be bigger than the Mazda MX-5 Miata, and its taillights could echo the third-generation Mazda RX-7.
The Mazda RX-7 concept – long, low, and has the potential to be gorgeous which indicates a good sign for Mazda. Mazda did the right thing, got the models to market, and focused their limited sources to ensure they continued existence.
The rotary’s small size and high output per litre of displacement are good enough to overcome the Mazda RX-7 lower efficiency. The engines can be run at a steady revolutions per minute (RPM), where reciprocal piston engines have less of an advantage.
It is good to see Mazda has become a toll for the past few years. They have taken the “Japanese performance” mantle that was held by Acura, Japanese first automotive luxury brand way back then.
