When it comes to drop-top luxury cars, there are only two heavyweights in the market and it is the BMW 6-Series and the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class. Soon, there will be a third name and it is the Lexus SC.
Due to arrive later next year, the vehicle is going to come out with tons of power and a great driving experience to offer. Our Lexus insider shared with us that the SC is going to be driven on the RWD system but 4WD will be an alternative coming out at a later date.
The vehicle is expected to be powered by a 5L V8 engine that develops 467hp but the rumours are claiming that the engine is going to come with twin-turbo. Regardless of how what engine is fitted on the SC, it will be mated to a standard automatic transmission.
When the Lexus SC arrives, it will be retailing at around the $80,000 mark. Lexus is expected to unveil the SC early next year at a major motoring event.
