We’ll be able to see a lot of improvements made to the 2017 Jeep Wrangler, if rumours come out to be true. It’s claimed that the vehicle will be given new suspension, chassis and body, which the latter is going to partly be made out of aluminum and we’re expecting a lot of weight loss too. So long it comes out as a stronger car.
The Wrangler might also be fitted with a ZF sourced engine from the Chrysler, and it would use the 8 speed 4-cylinder based on the weight that the vehicle is able to handle. Also a point of noteworthiness is that it will be able to produce a lot of torque, with the presence of an updated version of the V6 Pentastar engine.
But it has its downsides too. The Wrangler will actually look about the same, in terms of its coil-suspended Dana axles at front and back along with a boxed frame. But the Dana 44 piece is going to offer new casings that haven’t been seen anywhere before. Which still spells something good, no?
Wondering what the price would be? The 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be priced around $25,000 and is expected to come out probably end of 2016.
