Jeep will be upgrading the Jeep Wrangler for 2017. So what kind of upgrade can we expect to see when the 2017 model arrives.
It is said that Jeep has plans to upgrade the body, chassis and suspension of the Jeep Wrangler, but that is not all as it has been reported that the new Jeep Wrangler body might be made with aluminium.
That will help the Wrangler shed a few pounds to help improve the performance the fuel economy of the Jeep Wrangler. It is said the Jeep Wrangler might be powered by a four-cylinder engine that will be mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed auto transmission. Jeep will mostly likely be updating the V6 engine as well.
Under the Jeep, Wrangler will be the coil suspended Dana axles in the front and in the back. The 2017 Jeep Wrangler is expected to make its debut late next year and is estimated to come with a $25,000 price tag.
