The iconic American SUV, Jeep will be introducing the new Jeep Renegade as the 2017 model. It is said that the car will be available in two engine options, the 2.4-liter Tigershark and the 1.4-liter Multiair turbocharged.
The previous model can produce 184 horsepower and 240Nm of torque, whereas the 1.4-liter Turbocharged produces 160 horsepower and 250Nm of torque.
Besides that, the carmaker may be introducing the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged MJD II engine. Both engines will come with a new 9-speed automatic gearbox.
What’s more, the car’s design gets its inspiration from the Jeep Wrangler. The SUV’s front gets the signature grille, wide airdam, round shaped headlamps, upright stances and fog lamps. So, if this is true, then we are looking forward for a more powerful Jeep Renegade, hopefully.
