Jeep is going to be revealing the 2017 Jeep Renegade and we have heard that the vehicle will be more powerful than the previous version and it is going to be available in two choices of engines. These should be the 1.4 litre Multiair turbocharged and the 2.4 litre Tigershark engine.
The model that came before it gave out 184 horses along with 240Nm of torque and the 1.4 litre turbocharged engine will offer up 160 horses along with 250Nm of torque.
It was also said that the 2017 Jeep Renegade may be about to offer the 2 litre 4 cylinder turbocharged engine by way of the MJD II and both of the engine options would come with the 9 speed automatic gearing.
The design of the 2017 Jeep Renegade might come from the Jeep Wrangler. We can expect to see the wide airdam, the signature grille, fog lamps and round shaped headlamps on the vehicle. So all-in-all the new vehicle is looking as though it is going to be more powerful than ever before.
