It’s time for Jaguar to steal the limelight with its brand-new 2017 F-Pace that will set to take the market by storm as a sporty crossover SUV. What we can definitely expect out of it is that it’s going to be charmingly handsome and it’s going to make use of a very sophisticated chassis technology.
Jaguar Land Rover has announced that they will be incorporating an aluminum-intensive construction (known as Jaguar’s Lightweight Aluminum Architecture), with the idea to make the SUV as lightweight as possible, but still rigid. Also worthy to note is that the curb weight of the vehicle is pretty light for an SUV too, with an approximate 4,000 pounds in total.
We should also not be surprised that the Britain’s automotive industry is still on its heels, because Jaguar has certainly landed high hopes on its 2017 F-Pace and the 2017 XE sedan in making a turnover in their US market. And we really hope it does. The automaker will also have two upcoming SUVs produced, as mere support to the F-Pace, as they believe the latter would be its best-selling model while the other two would serve as securing their spot in the UK market.
When it comes to pricing, it is also claimed that F-Pace’s main rivalry would be that of the Porsche’s Macan, so it is very possible that its base model will come out of the retail market with a price approximate of $54,000. With 1,300 workers serving to help in the production of the F-Pace crossover, it’ll be highly likely that they’ll arrive in showrooms as early as the beginning of next year.
