Hyundai has certainly stepped out of its cocoon when it unveiled the future Genesis. The car simply looks sublime with its beauty and promising as well.
Now, Hyundai has gone public to share that the Genesis will come with a smaller engine capacity as they aim to reduce carbon emission and improve fuel economy.
However, the engine downsizing won’t come at the cost of power. Hyundai revealed that they will be utilizing twin-turbo technology to ensure that the smaller capacity engine develops more power and torque.
It is unsure if the move was inspired by Honda’s desire to offer something similar with their future Civic but it is a welcoming change indefinitely.
Hyundai Motor America chief, David Zuchowski, claims that they are going to turn the twin-turbo V6 engine into a monster by ensuring that it will offer 420hp just like how it was on the old 5L V8 mill.
