The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor has new appearance, like the integrated fender flares and new rear bumper that provide the pickup an inclusive, intimidating look. However, the gloss black color does not do much to the muscle truck’s matte accents. The two-tone look is clear along with the door handles, side vent and the fenders.
The simple but eye-catchy Raptor logo and classic Blue Oval logo on the tailgate do catch peoples’s attention. Alongside with the absence of the other decals, this appears to be the biggest departure from the version that can be seen at Detroit Auto Show.
Ford in another news is said to equip the 2017 Ford F-150 with large Fox Racing shocks and Torsen front differential as an option. The pickup comes with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 and 411 horsepower together with a 10-speed automatic.
Nevertheless, the one thing that the Ford F-150 lacks is the good sound. It definitely deserves better acoustics that come from the dual exhausts. Hopefully Ford can do something with the sound so that it will be as awesome like the Ford Focus RS and GT.
