Things have been dull for BMW in recent years. Everything that the carmaker has revealed thus far, it is all about the future of the X-Series, particularly with the X2.
The X2 is going to be the next major vehicle to get produced by BMW and it is due to arrive next year. The vehicle is going to have 5-doors but will come out with a station wagon styling. In short, the X2 is going to be exactly like the X4 and X6 but only smaller in size.
For the BMW fans, they are tired of seeing all the attention being spent on the X-series. Besides, the X2 is not going to be interesting enough since it is only offered with an automatic transmission.
Some are also wondering, what BMW will do when they run out of numbers. Is there going to be a BMW X1.5 coming in the future?
