We saw many concepts at the Beijing Auto Show and one of them was the 2016 VW Golf R. fans of the Golf may want to check out the concept as it has been said that it is going to be the model that the new Golf R.
Volkswagen confirmed this when they revealed that the 2016 VW Golf R would be getting its inspiration from the 1989 Rally Golf and this may mean that we could be about to see it get a silver interior and lemon yellow exterior.
Of course we can also expect to see some improvements when it comes to the performance front as the 2016 VW Golf R will have the Haldex 5 AWD system and it is going to have the 2.2 litre turbocharged engine with the 7 speed DSG transmission.
The 2016 VW Golf R will offer 292 horses and this should take it from standstill to 62mph in 3.9 seconds. At the moment more details are scarce but we should get to hear more about the vehicle in the months to come.
