The 2016 Volvo XC90 mid-sized, seven-seater SUV is the first of its variants that will feature in its R-Design model; both the T6 gasoline engine, and the high-end T8 ‘Twin Engine’ plug-in hybrid model will be incorporated, respectively.
Although the SUV prides itself with its Scandinavian design, cutting-edge technology and highly fanatical focus on safety, it’s still very modest when it comes to the exterior design. However, it still looks effortless and has that quiet elegance to go along with its great handling and maneuverability. The highlight of the Volvo XC90 is in its interior, where there is a thoughtfully designed infotainment system and very high-quality materials are utilized, as well as having a real wood trim and premium leather seating.
On the inside is where all the surprises come to life. The seats are extremely comfortable and they are all in stitched leather, textured metal and matte wood; all a hint of suggesting Scandinavian furniture. Frankly speaking, it’s quite an experience indeed. It also claims to be an SUV with the combined elements of fun and laidback driving style, so if you’re just that kind of person, this might just be the car for you.
