Volkswagen introduces the new Volkswagen Tiguan at the 2015 Frankfurt Show, that is more spacious, economical and will be a hit at the market. The model has now come with a sharp new look, influenced by the latest Volkswagen Passat and Golf. The engine gets more efficient, with a GTE plug-in hybrid that can go 149mpg and CO2 emissions of just 42g/km.
The design of the new Volkswagen Tiguan is also improved, with creases, plenty sharp lines and neat details like LED daytime running lights, bigger alloy wheel designs and deeper front air intakes on higher-spec models. The exterior is redesigned for a conventional look, thanks to the increased size and enlarged wheels.
Besides that, the engines include the VW-Groups familiar 114 horsepower 1.6 and 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel units, which is available with single or twin turbos with 148 horsepower and 217 horsepower respectively. 1.4 and 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol units are also available and come with front of four-wheel drive option.
So, what do you think of the all-new Volkswagen Tiguan? Will it be a perfect ride for you, or otherwise? We hope that the new model can help improve Volkswagen’s stand in the compact SUV sector.
