In a matter of months from now, Volkswagen is going to unleash the Golf R Facelift. This upcoming model is going to look totally different from the last Golf R since it is going to adopt the styling of the old 1989 Rally Golf.
If so, it suggests that the Golf R Facelift is going to be painted in yellow. For the interior, everything will be themed in silver. Despite drawing some inspiration from an 80s car, the Golf R Facelift won’t look old at all.
While the details are scarce at the moment, we believe that VW will still work on something fresh and new with the Golf R Facelift. Perhaps, the Golf R will drop the curves and adopt a boxy structure. Whatever it is, the old design will be completed with something from today.
