The latest Shanghai Motor Show played host to many new vehicles getting unveiled and among them is the Volkswagen C Coupe GTE concept car.
The 4-door luxury vehicle is about the size of the Mercedes S-Class and it will be positioned above the Phaeton when released.
Speaking of which, the C Coupe GTE is not going to be a global car but made exclusively for China instead. VW design chief Klaus Bishoff confirmed this when he claims that the auto firm needs to fill the gap between the Passat CC and the Phaeton in China.
Bishoff then added that the C Coupe GTE is going to be built on the MLB Platform The vehicle will have a four-seating arrangement and this will cater well to the execs with a chauffer.
