As soon as Toyota reveals the new 2016 Toyota Yaris Sedan, the first thing that comes out of the mind of those who have seen it is, “this car looks familiar.” Yes, this car does look like Mazda 2 Sedan. At a first glance, and even after that, this car does not have much differences as compared to Mazda 2.
To begin with, the Toyota Yaris has similar hexagonal front grille and stylised headlights with chrome setting. However, Toyota Yaris Sedan comes with 16-inch alloy wheels and pure rear whereas Mazda 2 Sedan opts for dissimilar badges at its rump with a chromed tailpipe.
From the inside look of Toyota Yaris Sedan, this car is armed with a Bluetooth connectivity, multifunction steering wheel, power windows, cruise control and powered door locks. Chrome accents and soft-touch material are added around the cabin for the finest outlook.
So, does Toyota really copy Mazda, or is it just a coincidence? Just when car experts are overwhelmed by the similarity, they are hoping that this is just another false news they are hearing. Toyota better have a good explanation over what seems to be just one of those days when they accidentally make mistake, just that mistake like this should never happen to well-established brand like Toyota.
