We were happy when we heard that Toyota plans to give the Toyota Prius a new exterior design but looking at what they had in mind, we think we would rather have the older design back.
The older one was not pretty, but it wasn’t ugly as well. It was just bland and we can live with that. The 2016 Toyota Prius definitely not bland. It will definitely grab your attention when it pass by but not in a good way.
However, that does not mean that it does not have any redeeming factors at all. For starters, the 2016 Toyota Prius will start off cheaper now which is nice for those looking to own a hybrid.
The Toyota Prius is also more fuel efficient now with EPA announcing that the Toyota Prius is capable of returning about 52mpg on average on the standard model and 58mpg on the Eco model.
