The next-gen Toyota Hilux has finally been unveiled and it turns out to be a pickup truck with a really bad taste in fashion. This is really disappointing as many thought that the Hilux is going to look like the sketches that were released late last year.
It is very easy to describe the Hilux’s styling. The exterior features a longer nose and a more slanted pair of headlamps that infuses itself with the grille. In simpler terms, the Hilux outer design looks like a knockoff pickup truck that is made in China.
Then there is the interior which has failed to look any better. Everything inside the Hilux looks neat but the dashboard is boring and repetitive. The dials, infotainment system and layout are all identical to Toyota’s other vehicles.
All in all, the Toyota Hilux is deemed as a failure in the eyes of car junkies worldwide. However, being a Toyota, we can expect the Hilux to still sell well regardless of the weak styling.
