Most vehicles will come with the ABS safety system now to help drivers so that they do not glide away. While the system is pretty handy, some people are saying that the ABS is annoying because of all the vibration and that wish that it could be turned off.
The fact is that the ABS system can be turned off most of the time, but drivers are not recommended to do so. The system will help the driver detect if their wheels are locked from braking so that it can start adjusted the brake in case it start gliding.
It might be annoying when it starts to shake and vibrate, but that is because it has detected that the wheels are about to be locked. With the amount of safety you get in return, it is best of you just live with the vibration and keep the ABS on. Only disable it if you really know what you are doing but it is definitely not recommended.
