It wasn’t that long ago when Suzuki unveiled the Alto kei car and now, the Japanese carmaker has returned to confirm on the Alto Turbo RS production.
The mini-hatchback will obviously be a sportier version of the Alto kei and it is aimed at being the perfect car for city dwellers. This is partly due to the fact that it runs on a very small engine but with big gas mileage.
In detail, the Alto Turbo RS is equipped with a 0.66L 3-cylinder engine that is mated to a 5-speed Auto Gear Shift transmission with paddle shifters as a standard. This addition of the latter is necessary since the Alto Turbo RS has great acceleration.
With 98Nm of torque to offer in an ultra-small and light framework, the Alto Turbo RS is considered as a supercar in its class. Even so, it is amazing on how the Alto Turbo RS is expected to come with impressive fuel ratings that average at 60.2mpg.
The Suzuki Alto Turbo RS is clearly something really exciting worth looking forward to and we can’t wait to see how it actually fair when demonstrated on the tarmacs.
