In a matter of months from now, Subaru will be launching a new model version of the WRX and WRX STI. Both vehicles will be built based on the 2015 Subaru Impreza hence they are going to receive a big upgrade.
In detail, there will be a new Starlink touchscreen infotainment system that features Bluetooth, satellite radio, internet radio streaming and backup camera. For the STI Premium and Limited trims, the system will also have gesture controls and dual USB ports.
Of course, the upgrades are not limited to the infotainment system. The upcoming WRX will also be safer as it is equipped with lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, and lane-keep assist functions as a standard across all trims.
As such, consumers should look forward to the 2016 Subaru WRX that is coming out somewhere in Q3. Even with all the new features on board, it still won’t change the fact that the WRX is going to be a serious performer like its predecessors.
