Renault is famous for making great performance hatchbacks and now, the French automaker is aiming to produce performance crossovers.
This was confirmed by Renaultsport chief, Patrice Ratti, when he teased that the company is considering tuning both the Renault Captur and Kadjar. We believe that Renault is inspired by the Nissan Juke Nismo’s success.
Unfortunately, Patrice didn’t go into detail with the tuned Kadjar coming in the future so there is no way to tell on how it is going to be like. Regardless, we can expect the crossover stand up against the BMW X-Series, Mercedes GL-Class and the Porsche performance SUVs.
