Everything about the second-generation Range Rover Sport seems perfect except for the fact that the model lacks variation with its engine option. For those that are unaware, consumers can only opt for the 510hp 5L V8.
Thankfully though, Land Rover realize this flaw and has hence announced on the limited edition Ranger Rover Sport HST that will offer car junkies a 3L supercharged V6 set-up. Despite being relatively smaller in capacity, the engine has its power boosted from 340hp to 380hp.
Of course, the engine is not the only special perk with the Range Rover Sport HST. Land Rover shared that the vehicle will be coming with unique chassis settings which will reduce the body motions of the SUV. Together with the Sport and Dynamic package, the HST variant will come out with greater handling.
The Range Rover Sport HST will be making its debut at the end of this year as part of Land Rover’s MY2016 line-up. More details are expected to come when the Range Rover Sport HST gets fully unveiled in the coming months.
