In a matter of weeks from now, Peugeot will be launching the all-new 308GTi. While the sports hatch promises to deliver an exhilarating performance, its pricing hints at bad sales.
Of course, Peugeot has yet to share the retail price of the 308GTi but we can expect it to be really expensive. This is evident in the UK where the latest Peugeot 205GT is selling at about £26k.
For that same amount of fee, consumers can own the Ford Focus ST3. The latter is obviously the better option as it offers much better handling and performance.
So if Peugeot wants to enjoy some success with the 308GTi, they really need to price the car appropriately and competitively. Otherwise, it will end up as a loss.
