In a matter of weeks from now, Nissan will be launching the next-gen Maxima. We are all aware on how the sports sedan is going to look like and the most exciting feature on its design is its floating roof.
Well, the excitement was killed off the moment we laid our eyes on the next-gen Opel Astra. Pictures of the sports hatch has already surfaced online and the hatchback really look pretty. The Astra also has a floating roof but one that looks more beautiful than the Maxima.
Credits belong to Opel for being able to design a real floating roof that looks nicer than the Maxima. Heck, the floating roof on the Astra is also more coherent than the latest Nissan Murano.
This is already a plus point for the Opel Astra. Once the hatchback makes its debut, it will be powered by the newly-developed 1.4L Ecotec Turbo-4 engine that produces 145PS and 184ft-lbs of toque.
