We have been given a look at the snouty future compact hatchback design of the 2016 Nissan Maxima Sway concept over at the Geneva Motor Show. This is an egg-shaped hatchback with styling elements taken from other show cars and blended together in what happens to be an attractive car with five doors.
One of the most interesting features of the 2016 Nissan Maxima Sway concept is the hood that arches and takes your eyes to the deep v shaped grilled, this is something like that seen on the Lannia concept. On both sides are the boomerang LED headlights and the air intakes offer a flash of orange accent. Creases flow over the fenders to take your eyes from the front to the rear and they sweep back to the tail lights. There are also the floating roof motif and suicide doors without the B pillars.
The interior of the 2016 Nissan Maxima Sway is very airy and this is down to the panoramic glass roof with the windshield that goes up over the heads of the people in the front. Two gauges dominate the simple instrument cluster and for more information there is a tablet situated in the centre of the dashboard.
Nissan did point out that the design of the 2016 Nissan Maxima Sway is to take the compact hatchbacks styling in a new bolder direction.
