Mazda will be upgrading the Mazda CX-5 to sweeten the deal for their customers. The model, called the 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 will come in with a few new tech and safety features, but people are saying that Mazda will most likely come out with a new Mazda CX-5 for 2017 the consumers should wait?
Here is what the 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 will come with. The Mazda CX-5 engine will now come with the SKYACTIV-Drive 6-speed auto transmission. All models will also be fitted with a backup camera now. The Touring version will come with additional features like sat-nav and heated front seats while the Grand Touring version will come with an additional navigation system.
The base model will still be running on a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G petrol engine that will push out about 155hp. The higher range option is the 2.5 liter Skyactiv-G engine that will be delivering about 184hp.
The 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 will go on sale early next year.
