It is no secret that Mazda is producing the CX-3 and the vehicle is due to arrive in 2016. Soon, the world will be able to catch a glimpse of the mini-SUV after Mazda confirmed its participation in the upcoming LA Auto Show happening this week.
Even so, Mazda couldn’t hold their excitement and decided to spill more details on the CX-3. The Japanese carmaker was thrilled to announce yesterday that the vehicle will be coming with the latest SkyActiv technologies.
As for the size, the CX-3 is built on the same platform that was used for the Mazda 2. This also means that the CX-3 will be equipped with a long, low hood; wide-mouth grille, sculpted body side lines; and muscular wheel arches.
In simpler terms, we could see the CX-3 as the smaller version of the highly successful CX-5. Thanks to its smaller measurements, the CX-3 will surely appeal to the young generation of drivers.
