The Lexus RX is well known for being one of the most powerful luxury SUVs in the world. Now, things are about to get a whole lot better as the upcoming RX Facelift is also going to be fuel efficient too.
Lexus has already shared that the RX Facelift is going to be built on aluminium and this is aimed at dragging the weight of the vehicle down. Obviously, the lighter body weight will enable the RX Facelift to offer more power and also return better fuel mileage.
Also, it is worth noting that the RX Facelift is going to be Lexus’ first ever vehicle to come with aluminium parts. Then again, the aluminium is only used to structure the hood, tailgate and closures of the vehicle.
Unfortunately, Lexus has yet to give us any performance figures to prove that the RX Facelift is going to be a big improvement from the original RX. This will have to wait until the RX Facelift gets fully unveiled later this year.
