Lexus took part in the ongoing New York Auto Show to unveil the upcoming Lexus RX Facelift. For those who are unaware, the facelift luxury SUV will involve both the RX350 and RX450.
Unfortunately, however, the RX Facelift was fully unveiled with a thoroughly ugly design. The large jagged front grille, the sharp edges, the creases and lines seems like the Lexus is trying too hard to make the RX Facelift looks sporty. There’s just too much going on to make any of it work as a cohesive design.
Now, it seems that those who are guilty of calling the Lexus boring in the past have returned to publicly apologize to the luxury carmaker from Japan. One enthusiast actually begged for Lexus to go back to its boring old designs and promise not to complain.
Regardless of the overdone sporty look, the RX won’t be coming with any insane performance. Instead, it is going to offer drivers a quiet, comfortable, luxury drive. Besides, the RX Facelift is built with aluminium so it is going to be fuel efficient too.
