For decades already, the Jeep Wrangler has served the masses as the ideal off-road vehicle that is both durable and reliable. However, the only problem with every new Wrangler is that it fails to offer great fuel economy.
Well, this may soon change next year when Jeep launches a new-generation of Wrangler. The word is that the next-gen Wrangler is being built with aluminium parts, something which most other carmakers are already doing with their cars.
Such a move comes with the sole intention to drag the weight of the Wrangler down. This can only mean well for the SUV as a lighter body will reflect better power output and of course, better fuel economy.
With a fuel savvy Wrangler poised to make its debut next-year, consumers will surely have a tough time when deciding on which SUV to purchase. Then again, the above is still based on rumours and it is best to take it with a pinch of salt.
