2016 Jeep Wrangler: More Power, Less Fuel

Jeep is poised to introduce a new-generation of Wranglers later this year and it is going to come with more improvements from the existing model.

For starters, Jeep has teased that the upcoming Wrangler is going to come with a lighter framework. With the weight of the 4×4 getting reduced drastically, car junkies should look forward to more power and better fuel economy with the upcoming Wrangler.

The Wrangler will be powered by a newly developed 3.6 liter 6 cylinder engine and a new direct injection system to the Pentastar motor nicknamed PUG. Of course, consumers can still opt for the 2.8L V4 diesel or the 3.8L V6 engine.

Such a build-up will surely make the Wrangler more appealing to the general market. Of course, the Wrangler will still come with Jeep’s trademark 4WD technology that will enable the car to climb mountains and drive on dirt trails easily.

Car junkies can expect more spills on the future Wrangler by Jeep at this year’s annual Easter Jeep Safari event.
