This is because the trim will see the Wrangle being made of aluminium. The new choice of metal is lighter than conventional metals and it will aid in reducing the weight of the Wrangler drastically. With the Wrangler weighing like a feather, power will be maximized and so will fuel economy.
It is understood that the aim of this weight-loss program is for Jeep to prepare the Wrangler for the stricter emission rules coming in the future. For decades already, the Wrangler is famous for many great things other than fuel economy. Soon, this will change for good.
