Some sketches of Hyundai’s luxury car sub-brand Genesis are already on the way, and it’s the Genesis G90. Details will all be revealed in Korea in December 2015, as the G90 will be the flagship model in the new Genesis range.
Hyundai’s Genesis sub-brand: a recap
Started off as a luxury saloon model, the Genesis has now shifted to a brand of its own targeting mainly towards USA, China and the Middle East. G90 is the first to be planned and launched by 2020, alongside 5 other new models.
Genesis G90: What’s In It?
The Genesis G90, despite called as the EQ900 in Korea, is likely to share the same 3.8-litre petrol V6 as the current Genesis. Other details such as powertrain, pricing and specification would only be released upon the car’s launch in December.
On top of that, the G90 would be joined by G80 and G70 stylings designed by Bentley and Lamborghini design chief Luc Donckerwolke.
Though Hyundai focuses on the US, China and Middle East for its launch of the Genesis models, it’s likely to be a priority for the carmaker to rule out the UK market introduction.
