The 2016 Honda pilot may follow the footsteps of its sibling and if it does it will become a road hazard. The Acura MDX has suffered at the hands of a recall due to an issue with a bolt and the Pilot has the same base, which leads us to believe that it could follow on and suffer from the same issue.
The Acura MDX recall was down to the air conditioning clutch drive bolt which might work its way loose. The recall has affected around 106,000 vehicles and now the attention has turned to the 2016 Honda Pilot with the same base.
Honda are working on fixing the issue but what is going to happen to the 2016 Honda Pilot? Owners of the vehicle are now waiting to find out if their vehicle is going to be involved in the recall.
