Honda has finally launched the pictures of the upcoming Pilot and the minivan simply looks disastrous. Despite the new design language, the future Pilot looks so much like an old fridge that rests on tiny little wheels.
There is no questioning the fact that the Honda Pilot looks poorly proportioned. Even the interior is a step backwards for Honda as it failed to offer thick cushion seats and a dashboard that drivers can appreciate.
The tail section seems looks exactly like the Acura MDX and this worrying to say the least. After all, Acura is a luxury carmaker and even if it is owned by Honda, having its features on an ugly Pilot will surely give it a bad name.
Nevertheless, the there are some nice things with the Honda Pilot like how the colours for its interior looks nice. Also, one can easily praise the new technology and the seating alignments in the Honda Pilot.
While this may sound like stereotyping, the Honda Pilot will surely appeal the soccer moms due to its basic offerings, dull design and the fact that it is a Honda. Let’s just hope that things will change when the Pilot gets fully unveiled at this year’s Chicago Auto Show.
