Honda has really outdone themselves with the new 2016 Honda Civic. The last few generations were not the best we’ve seen from Honda, but it looks like they did learn from all their mistake with the release of the 2016 Honda Civic. So how will be the new 2016 Honda Civic fare against the fun loving Mazda 3?
The base 2016 Honda Civic model will come in with a 158hp 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual. CVT option is also available on all trims. The Honda Civic will return about 27mpg in the city and 40mpg on the highway.
The Mazda 3, on the other hand, will come in with a 155hp 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mazda 3 will return about 29mpg on the city and 40mpg on the highway.
Compared to the Mazda 3, the Honda Civic definitely feels more premium but what you get from the Mazda 3 is a fun and exciting ride. So which do you think should be the winner?
